Gino Manzo

Gino Manzo – Currently Gino is The VMEC Managing Director. He also is a Professor of Practice teaching numerous classes at Virginia Tech and George Mason University . Prior to this position he was the Operational Director of the Electronic Systems Microelectronics facilities and BAE Systems, Manassas, VA, Site Executive. Gino attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He graduated from Cornell University with Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, and started his career as a digital board designer and test engineer with IBM in Owego, NY. Over his 38-year corporate career he has held a host of technical and management positions within all of the Electronic Systems microelectronic facilities located in Manassas, VA, Lexington, MA, and Nashua, NH. As the Manassas Site Executive he was responsible for the safety, security, working conditions and community outreach for the 280 Manassas employees. Gino serves on the BARN -Transitional Housing, Board of Directors.

He lives in Casanova, VA, with his wife, Kathy, and their daughters, Courtney and Chelsea. Gino is a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. His hobbies include hiking, long distance backpacking, bicycling, and fly-fishing. Gino is currently the President of Shenandoah Valley Racket-“T”ers, car club.
